How to Measure Your Wrist

To ensure your cuff fits comfortably with no guesswork, measure your wrist snug to the skin before ordering:

Use a Flexible Tape Measure: Wrap a soft tailor’s tape snugly around your wrist bone—right where you normally wear a watch or bracelet.

The String & Ruler Method: If you don't have a flexible measuring tape, wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your wrist so it sits snug against your skin. Mark where it meets, lay it flat on a ruler, and note the exact length.

Do Not Add Extra Length: Order your exact snug wrist measurement. We build the proper comfort clearance and snap alignment into the final cuff sizing so it sits comfortably without twisting or pinching.

Your wristcuff comes pre-treated in our Colorado Springs shop and is ready for immediate field wear, but a little routine care keeps it standing guard for a lifetime:

Break-In Period: Wear it daily. Body heat and natural skin oils will break in the dense 8–9 oz veg-tan fibers and shape the cuff comfortably to your wrist within a week.

Shop & Field Cleaning: Wipe away dust, sweat, or shop dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging the leather in water.

Conditioning: Apply a quality natural balm (such as Smith’s Leather Balm or pure neatsfoot oil) every 3–6 months to keep the heavy hide supple and weather-resistant. Keep conditioner off the brass concho to maintain its antiqued patina finish.

Drying: If the cuff gets soaked, allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources.
